Frequently Asked Questions
What is Chlorella?
Chlorella is a single cell, freshwater green micro-algae with the ability to bring your body to peak, balanced condition. GreenPath Chlorella is a rich balanced source of many nutrients that are essential to health but increasingly deficient in today’s diet of processed and refined foods.
What are the primary uses of Chlorella?
Chlorella is used by physicians and dentists worldwide to safely bind, remove, and detoxify heavy metals and chemical pollutants.
Is Chlorella a multivitamin?
No. Chlorella is recognized as the most nutritionally-potent wholefood on planet earth.
How much health-related research has been done on Chlorella?
Over 6,000 peer-review and clinical papers and six major books have been written about Chlorella and whole body detoxification.
Is Chlorella sodium-free?
Yes. It is also lactose free, gluten free, and contains no fillers, binders, preservatives, colorings or flow agents.
What vitamins and minerals naturally occur in Chlorella Pyrenoidosa?
Chlorella is loaded with naturally occurring vitamins, amino acids and minerals. It is 60% protein and naturally contains 19 amino acids (including all essential amino acids). It is also a rich source of over 20 vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, plus beta-carotene, vitamins B1, B-2, B-3, B-5, B-6, B-12, biotin, inositol, folic acid, vitamins C, E and K.
Does Chlorella have chlorophyll?
Chlorella is the most abundant natural source of chlorophyll, with more RNA/DNA nucleic acids than any other known source.
Is Chlorella good for the detoxification of the liver?
Chlorella is the ultimate liver-enhancing supplement.
What sets Chlorella apart from other superfoods?
It is Chlorella’s proven ability to assist the body in detoxifying harmful air, water, and food-borne heavy metal and chemical pollutants, precursors to many of today’s common degenerative disease conditions.
Is Chlorella a source of assimilable essential nutrients?
Chlorella is a tiny nutritional powerhouse. It naturally contains 19 amino acids, including all eight essentials, the highest quantities of chlorophyll and RNA/DNA ever discovered within a natural source, an abundance of vitamins and minerals, plus unsaturated essential fatty acids.
What country uses the most Chlorella?
Millions of people in Japan use Chlorella every day, partly because the government classifies is as a "function food" scientifically proven to be beneficial to human health.
What other benefits do Chlorella users report?
In addition to its physical health benefits, most Chorella users also experience increased energy, mental clarity, complexion, and a decrease in stress-induced tension and anxiety.
How does Chlorella work in the detoxification process?
Chlorella binds heavy metals and chemical toxins and removes them through the colon. Once Chlorella binds with a heavy metal or chemical toxin, it cannot be separated from that toxin. Therefore, it does not create any additional problems while exiting the body.
Do many people take Chlorella on a daily basis as a preventative measure?
Scientific research has uncovered unparalleled evidence supporting the regular use of Chlorella as a preventative nutritional supplement. Chlorella should be a lifetime daily health supplement.
Why is Chlorella considered a "micro-green algae"?
Chlorella’s molecules are microscopic (about the size of a human red blood cell), which allows micro-fine filtering. This yields an exceptionally pure and clean harvest. Blue-Green (Cyano Bacteria) algae are too large and to be harvested using this optimal process.
How does Chlorella affect serum albumin levels in the body?
According to extensive research, serum albumin in the human body serve as an accurate indicator of overall health. Low albumin levels are a precursor to non-hereditary degenerative disease, including cancers and cardiovascular heart disease, the most fatal diseases in the country. The accuracy of albumin levels have led some hospitals to begin using this screening method instead of the “APACHE II” morbidity and mortality scoring.
Chlorella is the only natural substance proven to raise albumin levels.
- High albumin levels have been shown to extend the life span of cells in vitro and prevent the mutation of cancer lines.
- Optimal albumin levels indicate healthy kidney, liver, and immune system function.
- Low albumin levels are an extremely accurate predictor of morbidity and mortality.
Is Chlorella a safe and effective alternative to prescription cholesterol-lowering drugs?
In a study of 54 patients enrolled (excluding another 18 patients with incomplete data), 82 percent experienced 50 to 100 point reductions in cholesterol with an average 65 points over the initial 30 days.
Hypertensive patients experienced a significant drop in blood pressure. Following their initial 30-day re-evaluation, two of the hypertensive patients were able to cease taking prescribed anti-hypertensive medications altogether, while the remaining patients significantly reduced their dosage.
Note: Always consult your physician before stopping use of medications.
How is GreenPath Chlorella different from other brands?
The difference is in our cell-cracking process. Our high velocity spray method exposes the Chlorella to alternating extreme high pressure and extreme low pressure very quickly to reach the optimum cracked cell wall.
Our competitors crack the cell wall using glass beads while the Chlorella is in its slurry state. This method is faster and less expensive, but glass is known to harbor many heavy metals, thus contaminating the purity of the Chlorella.
Our competitors' Chlorella is sold in tablet form. They use fillers and binders to hold the tablet together, which is cheaper than GreenPath's pure, natural vegetable capsules. These tablets are often compressed so tightly that they cannot dissolve properly in the digestive tract. Many of the nutriets are lost without being absorbed by the body.
Our Chlorella is grown using our very strict quality control. We use a virgin laboratory strain of Chlorella to start each batch instead of dipping from one batch to start another batch like our competitors. This results in different qualities of each batch.
Many companies buy Chlorella on the open commodity market, therefore losing control of quality control standards and even mixing different strains. GreenPath Chlorella is grown in large concrete basins, cleaned after each batch, and grown by photosynthesis process.
How do I know how many mgs of each vitamin or mineral they are getting per daily serving of Chlorella?
Take the stated amount on the label, divide by 100, and multiply by 3 to see how much of any vitamin or mineral in a daily serving (3 grams per day = 9 capsules - suggested daily dosage).
What is the difference between Chlorella and chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll derives from a green sea algae and fresh water algae that cleanses the blood. Chlorella is rich in chlorophyll but Chlorella is much more effective as a detoxification product. Chlorophyll alone has no detoxification abilities.
