Chlorella is a potent source of riboflavin

One of the many vitamins that Chlorella provides is riboflavin or vitamin B12. This nutrient is vital to the immune system as it aids in the formation of red blood cells and antibodies. It also plays a vital role in the formation of healthy hair, nails, and skin.

Symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include skin problems such as cracked or dry skin, sores at the corners of the mouth, and skin lesions. Because vitamin B12 helps tissue to utilize oxygen, skin shows signs first.

The vitamin B12 in Chlorella has been shown, in conjunction with iron therapy, to aid in the treatment of anemia. When taken in the right amounts, it can also help with cataracts and carpal tunnel.

In addition, Chlorella’s riboflavin content can provide these benefits:

  • Helps in the production of energy
  • Regulates growth and reproduction of  skin, connective tissue, eyes, mucous membranes, nervous system and the defense system.
  • Ensures healthy skin, nails and hair growth.
  • Regulates thyroid activity
  • Prevents chronic  conditions   like migraine headaches, cataracts, acne, dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and eczema.
  • Prevents acne
  • Increases immunity
  • Repairs tissues
  • Regulates nervous system
  • Ensures healthy eyes
  • Helps in the absorption of minerals such as iron, folic acid and other Vitamins such as B1, B3 and B6.
